About Verónica Meana

Verónica Meana joined the Bar Association in 1995. She specialised in shipping law at HFW in London before joining Fernando Meana Green y Asociados Law firm in Madrid in 1996. In 2015, she became a partner at Aiyon Abogados. She has broad experience in all areas of maritime law, such as contractual disputes and passenger claims, claims under charterparties and/or bills of lading, collisions, groundings and other maritime casualties, recreational yacht incidents, domestic road transport law and the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR). She is a regular contributor to specialised publications and gives lectures in universities and companies in the shipping industry.
