About Ilias Spyropoulos

Ilias Spyropoulos is a senior associate at Ovvadias S. Namias Law Firm and has been involved in numerous cases, predominantly related to fraud, breach of trust, bribery, money laundering, extradition and mutual legal assistance. He is also active in the field of internal criminal investigations. Ilias undertook his undergraduate studies in law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and also obtained his LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. He then received his PhD in Criminal Law from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and he is currently appointed lecturer in criminal law at the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. Ilias is fluent in English and German and has conversational skills in French. He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2010 and of the Munich Bar Association since 2011.
