Bahakal Abate is a partner at Aman & Partners LLP. Bahakal is a seasoned corporate lawyer with over 15 years of legal experience. He is skilled in corporate, M&A, telecom, fintech, regulatory matters, energy, and project finance. He participated as a member of the national technical task force that revised the Commercial Code and Investment Proclamation. He represented Vodafone Consortium and M-Pesa in their bid to secure telecom and mobile money licenses. Bahakal holds an LLM (with distinction) from the University of Groningen; LLM in arbitration from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and is a Gold Medalist from Haramaya University.
