About Tilahun Weldie

Tilahun Weldie is a principal associate at Aman & Partners LLP. Tilahun has extensively advised on corporate, financial services, fintech, data protection, and communications service laws, among others. Further, he has widely published in leading national and international journals. He has represented the Vodafone Consortium and M-Pesa in their bid to secure telecom and mobile money licenses. Tilahun holds a PhD from Monash University, Australia, an LLM in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Pretoria and LLB (great distinction) from Bahir Dar University. He obtained a certificate in International Legal Studies from American University.
