About Oliver Völkel

Oliver Völkel is a founding partner of STADLER VÖLKEL. His expertise includes banking, capital market and crypto-asset law. Oliver regularly publishes in legal journals; he is co-editor of the bestselling handbook “Blockchain Rules” and the MiCA commentary “Crypto-Assets”. Oliver gives lectures on the legal side of blockchain technology at Austrian universities and has particular experience in the application of this technology in the capital markets. His clients include renowned international corporations and banks. Oliver studied law at the University of Vienna and at Columbia Law School in New York. In the past, he has worked in international corporate law firms.
