About Haitao (Harry) Liu

Haitao (Harry) Liu is a senior attorney at King & Wood Mallesons, specialising in criminal defence, compliance and dispute resolution. He has represented officers of foreign enterprises in many cases prosecuted or investigated in China, acting as their defence counsel or providing them with in-depth legal counselling. For a number of years, Mr Liu has been recommended by international legal directories, such as Chambers & Partners, as a band-one or specially recommended attorney in compliance, investigation and anti-corruption in China. Mr Liu received his LLB and JM from Nanjing University and the East China University of Political Science & Law respectively, and he received his LLM from Columbia University. Mr Liu is admitted to practice in both China and NY State. He is an arbitrator of both CIETAC and SHIAC. Mr Liu’s working languages are Chinese and English.
