About Wu Qing

Wu Qing is partner in charge of KWM’s environment and climate change practice, with over ten years’ experience in the field. Chambers and Partners has ranked Wu a Band 1 PRC lawyer in environmental law from 2020 to 2024. She is legal counsel to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, an expert advisor in environmental trials of the Supreme People’s Court, and was a delegate to the 12th National People’s Congress. Wu specializes in legislation, advisory, compliance audits, administrative penalty hearings, reconsideration, and varied litigation involving environmental protection and climate change issues. She works in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
