About Marco Weibrecht

Marco Weibrecht is a counsel in the finance group at Chatham Partners, advising national and international banks, institutional investors, project companies and sponsors on all aspects of (project) financing, with a focus on wind and solar projects. In addition to advising on traditional financing, he also advises on mezzanine financings. Before joining Chatham Partners, Marco worked in the finance department of an international law firm in Hamburg for over six years, with a focus on the financing of renewable energy projects. He obtained an LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa).
