About Oleg Efrim

Oleg Efrim is the managing partner at ERA and a leading expert in M&A and corporate and commercial law, advising on complex transactions in regulated sectors such as banking and insurance. As Minister of Justice (2011–2015), he led the modernisation of Moldova’s Civil Code, creating one of the most advanced civil law systems in the region. In private practice, he has played an active role in key reforms to align corporate law with EU standards, including the overhaul of the Law on Limited Liability Companies. Oleg combines strategic policy knowledge with strong transactional skills, and teaches at Moldova State University.
