About Juan J Angulo

Juan J Angulo is the CEO of AMC. With 15 years of building a legal approach to electricity in Colombia, he has been recognised by multiple industry publications. His practice focuses on advising multinationals across the entire electricity spectrum. He specialises in negotiating and drafting complex contracts and his expertise extends to regulatory matters, auction contesting, M&A, project development, and environmental and social permitting and compliance. He advises on energy efficiency and cost-recovery strategies, and has represented clients in constitutional reviews. He has also been actively involved in recent legislative efforts. Mr Angulo recently earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Stanford University.
