Mazhar Bangash is the partner in charge and executive vice-president of RIAABG's Kabul Office. He has over 18 years of experience in corporate advisory and international trade. Since the establishment of the RIAABG Kabul office, he has been supervising the services offered to a multi-national clientele in respect of their corporate matters, including corporate advices, project finance, drafting of legislations and contracts, labour, tax, banking and investment, registrations/incorporations, licensing, telecommunication etc. As a corporate and international law practitioner, Mr Bangash has extensive experience in major areas of civil legal practice, including corporate, commercial, international trade, competition, financial, and labour, as well as constitutional and administrative laws. He has been involved in general corporate advisory services, project financing, aviation regulatory work, trade-policy drafting, drafting of legislations, banking, labour matters, international trade law issues, WTO trade remedy instruments, tariffs, customs-related issues, trade policy incentives, WTO dispute settlement, free and preferential trade agreements, telecommunication and investment laws of Afghanistan. Mr Bangash is also a panellist at the WTO Dispute Settlement Body in Geneva. Mr Bangash has been greatly involved in drafting laws, policies and regulations for governments and in particular the Public Private Partnership Law and Policy for Afghanistan.
