Alexander H. Butterman
is an intellectual property attorney and the Managing Trademark Prosecutor in the Virginia-based general practice firm of Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig PLLC. Alexander has represented a diverse group of businesses in a variety of industries and commercial sectors since 1995 while working in several intellectual property boutique law firms. He has consulted with the in-house trade mark group of an international hospitality company, and has examined trade mark applications as an Attorney Adviser in the US Patent and Trademark Office. Alexander has served on International Trademark Association (INTA) committees since 2006 and is also active in American Intellectual Property Law Association trade mark committees.
