Bruno Kurzweil de Oliveira
is a partner at Thomaz Bastos, Waisberg, Kurzweil Advogados who has deep experience obtained from his work in the largest and most complex restructuring cases in Brazil, having advised debtors, creditors and investors involved in the most challenging cases of restructuring, court-supervised and out-of-court corporate reorganisations and bankruptcies.
Bruno began his career participating in the Parmalat debt restructuring and has, since then, participated in and co-ordinated dozens of other successful cases involving debt restructuring. He has co-ordinated the filing for ancillary debt restructuring outside of Brazil with foreign law firms and thus acquired vast experience in litigations relating to cross-border insolvency cases and negotiations.
Bruno obtained his LLM in Bankruptcy Law from Columbia Law School, NY, in 2012 and is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association.
