About Alan Viana

Alan Viana is a partner at the firm. His key practice areas are tax, civil and public law litigation, with an emphasis on the Supreme Court and the Superior Court of Justice. Over the years he has litigated for several industries, such as agribusiness, banking, energy, oil and gas, mining and metals, technology, hardware and electronics, and telecommunications. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (Distrito Federal, São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro Section), the Tax Matters Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association on the Distrito Federal Section and one of the founding members of Brazilian Institute of Tax Arbitration (IBAT). He is a tax specialist and an MBE Energy student at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
