About Nicolas Wiegand

Nicolas Wiegand is head of the CMS disputes practice based out of Hong Kong, San Francisco and Munich. He specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration, with a focus on commercial, post-M&A, joint venture and IP disputes as well as the pharmaceutical, energy, construction and infrastructure, technology and engineering sectors. He is particularly experienced with arbitration in or in relation to Asia, specifically China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Taiwan, as well as many South-East Asian jurisdictions. He is also an experienced arbitrator and has acted as party representative and arbitrator in more than 140 international arbitrations under all major arbitration rules as well as in ad hoc arbitrations.
