About Amrit Rajapakse

Amrit Rajapakse is a sole practitioner and an independent advocate, arbitrator and mediator practising in Sri Lanka. He is an attorney-at-law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and SIMI Accredited Mediator (Level 1). Amrit specialises in intellectual property and commercial disputes. As an arbitrator, he has functioned as sole arbitrator, party-appointed arbitrator and tribunal chair in disputes encompassing construction, distributorship agreements, insurance, leasing and trust. Amrit also lectures on intellectual property licensing and arbitration law and procedure and has contributed several articles to reputed publications in Sri Lanka and overseas.
