About Amrit Rajapakse

Amrit Rajapakse is an independent advocate and arbitrator practising in Sri Lanka. He is an attorney-at-law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Amrit specialises in intellectual property and commercial disputes. As an arbitrator, he has functioned as sole arbitrator, party-appointed arbitrator and tribunal chair in disputes encompassing construction, distributorship agreements, insurance, leasing and trust. Amrit also lectures on intellectual property licensing and arbitration award writing and has also published several articles in reputed publications in Sri Lanka and overseas. Amrit is also a SIMC-trained mediator.
