Montserrat Carolina Sánchez Álvarez
graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo in 2005 and holds a master’s degree in Taxation from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). She is a senior associate at Pino Elizalde Abogados, where she leads the tax department, providing advice on tax structures for medium and small-sized corporations, as well as the incorporation process of newly created companies in Ecuador. Montserrat is a co-author of the "Ecuador: Overview" on the organic law on regulation and control of market power for "The Antitrust Review of the Americas 2013".
