About Irene Koech

Irene Koech is the lead partner in the Real Estate and Conveyancing Department at Ahmednasir Abdullahi Advocates LLP, with extensive experience in project finance, banking, and real estate law. With over 13 years of post-admission experience, she advises lenders, investors, and developers on the structuring, financing, and execution of large-scale infrastructure and property projects. Irene routinely handles the perfection of securities, drafting and registration of charges, debentures, and mortgages, as well as title conversions, subdivisions, and leases critical to project implementation. Her role includes navigating regulatory compliance for project finance and PPPs, ensuring effective risk management. Irene is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
