About Miguel Pizarro Páez

Miguel Pizarro Páez focuses on corporate, commercial, labour, energy, intellectual property and international co-operation matters. Throughout his career, he has participated in the establishment and operation of energy and commercial companies, as well as environmental NGOs in Ecuador; he has conducted corporate audits and advised on M&A processes. For several years, Miguel served as legal counsel for Latin America for a US-based international conservation organisation. He holds a Juris Doctor from PUCE (2001), completed postgraduate studies in Buenos Aires and holds a Master’s in International Law, Foreign Relations and Foreign Trade from ISDE (Madrid) and is admitted to practise law in Ecuador.
