About Roque Bustamante Espinosa

Roque Bustamante Espinosa has practised law since 1991, focusing on mining, oil and gas, and energy. He has represented foreign investors from North America, Europe and Australia in Ecuador and led major M&A transactions, including AB InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller. He has also advised on complex litigation, environmental and labour matters in the natural resources sector. He served as President of the Board of the Chamber of Mines of Ecuador and as Professor of Economic Law at UDLA. He holds a Juris Doctor from PUCE and a Master’s in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire. Admitted to practise law in Ecuador.
