About Albert Dione

Albert Dione is a specialist in maritime transport and customs law, advising on maritime projects and customs transactions in Guinea and the OHADA zone. He has expertise in renewable energy, particularly hydropower. Recently, Albert advised a Turkish group on a power purchase agreement in Africa and contributed to the financing of a 300 MW hydroelectric power plant in Guinea. Holding a doctorate in law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he is admitted to the Paris Bar and worked in French and Anglo-Saxon law firms before joining Thiam & Associés. He speaks English, Serer and Wolof.
