He concentrates his practice on banking, M&A, joint ventures, real estate and foreign investment, with vast experience in representing top-ranked financial institutions. His expertise includes syndicated and bilateral, secured and unsecured, and domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He has vast experience in domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions, including in the regulatory field. He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Costa Rica and has a post-graduate degree in Commercial Law, and attended the Harvard Law School Executive Education for M&A. Douglas has written several articles on financial and legal issues.
