is a partner at Kennedys and co-founder and managing partner of its Paris office. He is an insurance and reinsurance specialist with extensive expertise in complex litigation and arbitration. He advises leading French and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies, brokers, major policyholders, manufacturers and industrial companies on a broad range of issues, ranging from insurance and reinsurance disputes (litigation and arbitration) to product and professional liability, financial lines, construction, cyber-risk and fraud. He teaches judicial procedure and insurance litigation and arbitration at the Paris Insurance Institute and at the law faculties of Le Mans University and Montpellier University, and is a co-author of the Lamy Assurances (France’s leading textbook on insurance and reinsurance law). Alexis is also a member of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA), the Insurance and Reinsurance Legacy Association (IRLA), and the Association for the Management of Risk and Assurance of Enterprise (AMRAE), among several other bodies.
