About João Nóbrega

João Nóbrega is managing partner of EY Law – Sociedade de Advogados, SP, S.A., with over 20 years’ experience in AIF. His practice covers structuring, formation and supervision of real estate and private equity AIFs, and the licensing and governance of management companies in Portugal and Angola. He also advises on fund-level mergers and demergers and on regulatory matters at the AIFMD/RGA/RRGA interface. João assists international sponsors with establishing Portuguese platforms via regulated vehicles and with designing complementary cross-border structures. João has taught on postgraduate programmes at universities in Portugal and has been recognised in legal directories; he is a frequent speaker and co-author on investment vehicles and real estate.
