About Jonathan Ellis

Jonathan Ellis is a founding partner at Northridge Law LLP. Jonathan is a trusted adviser to some of the biggest names in sport, with client’s describing him as "one of the leading sports regulatory lawyers in the industry.” He has been The FA’s primary adviser on contentious matters for more than 12 years. He also acts for leading Premier League and European clubs, the Welsh Rugby Union and Premiership Rugby. Work highlights from the last year have included acting as the solicitor and secretary to the ongoing Independent Review of Integrity in Tennis and representing Chelsea FC before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He is a member of the British Association for Sports and Law, and lectures on the BASL/DMU Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Law. Jonathan is an editor of and contributor to industry-related publications.
