About Mabel Tucunduva Prieto de Souza

Mabel Tucunduva Prieto de Souza has over 30 years’ experience as a public prosecutor in São Paulo, including in the Court of Appeals. She has been a partner at Chieco Advogados for six years, where she focuses on family and inheritance matters, particularly conflict resolution, negotiated settlements and preventative approaches. Mabel has extensive experience in sensitive family disputes, as well as in succession and public registry matters. She is also a director of the Brazilian Institute of Family Law – São Paulo Chapter (IBDFAM-SP), where she leads the Succession Planning Commission, and she serves on the Legal Council (CONJUR) of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP).
