About Martha Mbugua

Martha Mbugua is a partner in Kieti’s corporate & commercial and competition law practice areas. Martha has more than 15 years of experience, gained in various globally ranked law firms in Nairobi, including Law3Sixty, a boutique firm she ran, prior to its merger with Kieti. She also worked in South Africa and in the legal departments of Barclays Bank of Kenya (now Absa Bank Kenya) and East Africa Breweries Limited. She has specialist experience in private equity, venture capital, structuring and investments, M&A, corporate and debt restructuring. Martha is ranked in Chambers Global as Band 4 for corporate/M&A, and holds memberships with the Law Society of Kenya and The Boardroom Africa.
