Karen Gallagher is a partner at Pinsent Masons (Ireland), where she leads the patents and life sciences practice. Karen has more than ten years’ experience in contentious IP work, providing strategic advice to clients in complex patent disputes and trade mark, design and copyright litigation. Her clients include global pharmaceuticals companies, generics and biosimilar clients, international brands, and technology and media companies. She has represented clients in precedent-setting patent infringement and revocation proceedings (with a particular focus on life sciences patent cases), trade mark infringement disputes, trade mark appeals, copyright and database rights disputes, and passing-off claims.
