About Margherita Barbagallo

Margherita Barbagallo is the head of litigation, IP and art law at Dragon Argent, where she leads legal strategy for tech start-ups, SMEs and art market participants. She advises businesses, investors and creators on commercial transactions involving assets, IP and compliance risks. Previously, Margherita practiced for a leading firm, handling title disputes, restitution claims and fraud litigation for galleries, collectors and artists’ estates. Margherita is also a trustee of the arts organisation Fevered Sleep. A frequent speaker on the art market, Margherita has presented at the London Art Fair, PAIAM’s Annual Conference and the Association of Women in the Arts. Her publications address IP protection, NFTs and compliance, reflecting her focus on the intersection of law, technology and creativity.
