About Li Yi

Li Yi is a senior associate in the Beijing office of Haiwen & Partners. She advises major Hollywood studios and leading international VoD platforms on the full life cycle of entertainment transactions, including development, financing, production, marketing and distribution of film and television content across jurisdictions. Her practice also covers Sino-foreign co-productions, theme park projects, talent management, music licensing, gaming, and technology-related matters, including AI-generated content. She advises foreign companies on regulatory and compliance matters concerning their business activities in the PRC. Ms Li is dual-qualified in the PRC and the State of New York.
