About Amelia Rohana Sonang

Amelia Rohana Sonang is a senior associate at UMBRA, specialising in power and renewable energy project development and project finance. She advises leading local and international clients, including PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) and its subsidiaries, on major power and infrastructure projects. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating PPAs, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and fuel supply agreements. Amelia has worked on landmark projects, including the 145 MWac Cirata Floating PV Plant and Indonesia’s proposed coal-fired power plant early retirement programme. She holds an LLM from Columbia University and is a member of PERADI.
