is a partner of Mourant Ozannes and leads the Guernsey litigation practice. He is admitted as a Guernsey advocate, and as a solicitor in England and Queensland. Abel appears regularly in the Guernsey courts. His practice focuses on financial institutions, investment funds and trusts, and he advises creditors, directors, shareholders and insolvency practitioners on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency. He has also acted in many contentious and non-contentious schemes of arrangement. Abel is a member of the Insolvency Lawyers' Association and a director and executive committee member of the Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Experts, the Channel Islands' INSOL organisation.
