About Christian W Konrad

Christian W Konrad is the founding partner of Konrad & Partners, an international law firm delivering premier legal services in all areas of dispute resolution, with a particular focus on international arbitration. He is an Austrian Rechtsanwalt, Solicitor of England and Wales and Euroadvokat in the Slovak and Czech Republics. He focuses on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. He has extensive experience with arbitral practice, procedure and advocacy both in civil and common-law systems and has represented domestic and international clients in a broad range of disputes. His practice covers inter-state, international and commercial disputes. Christian regularly advises clients on the protection of their investments and on the enforcement of arbitral awards and court judgments. Apart from acting as counsel, Christian has considerable experience in acting as arbitrator and chairman under the auspices of various international arbitral institutions and under ad hoc appointments. He is a Chartered Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of panels of various arbitration institutions worldwide. He acts as Vice-President of the Kosovo Permanent Tribunal of Arbitration. Christian is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and of the ICC Task Force on Emergency Arbitrator Proceedings. He was educated at King’s College, London, and the University of Vienna. He has published widely.
