About Claire Boyd

Claire Boyd is a partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s Energy and Resources group. Her expertise spans all aspects of resources projects, from acquisition, structuring and financing to the ongoing development, operation and then divestment of projects. Claire has particular experience with farm-in arrangements and joint ventures, two of the most commonly used structures for mining assets. As well as negotiating and documenting transactions, she provides advice on regulatory compliance, approvals, tenure and land access matters. Claire has considerable experience with both mining and Crown land tenure issues, including in relation to State Agreements, and regularly assists clients with complex tenure and land access matters.
