About Nana Adjoa Hackman

Nana Adjoa Hackman is the managing partner and a co-founder of Africa Legal Associates, with 20 years of legal and advisory experience. Nana was company secretary and headed the legal department of United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited from 2013–16. She has served on boards such as the board of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the global advisory board of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council. Nana has an MBA from the Imperial College Business School, having studied on the “Inspiring Women – Executive MBA Scholarship” awarded by the Business School in partnership with the 30% Club. She also has an LLM in petroleum law and policy.
