About Annija Kārkliņa

Annija Kārkliņa is a partner at BERG. She advises clients on real estate matters, with particular expertise in constitutional and human rights aspects, including property protection and expropriation. In addition to her legal practice, she is a professor at the University of Latvia. She has more than 20 years of academic experience at the University of Latvia. She has participated as a speaker in at least 30 scientific conferences, takes part in international research projects, and has provided expert opinions to numerous institutions. She has been granted expert rights in legal science by a decision of the Latvian Council of Science.
