About Giovanna Parga Martinez

Giovanna Parga Martinez is the head of Mello Torres’s labour practice and an expert in Brazilian labour and employment law. She has more than 15 years of experience and has assisted national and multinational companies of the most diverse lines of businesses, especially in labour law advice and labour aspects of in merger and acquisition (M&A) operations. Her expertise encompasses the analysis of risks and structuring compensation and benefit packages; companies’ internal practices and policies; hiring and termination of executives; and analysis of labour risks in the context of corporate restructuring, including post-closing measures. She has a postgraduate degree in Labour Law and Labour Procedural Law from Escola Paulista de Direito (EDP) and an MBA in Managers’ Human Development from Fundação Getúlio Vargas de São Paulo.
