About Solange Costa

Solange Costa is a lawyer at Mello Torres who has almost 30 years of experience, having worked in large companies, assisting with due diligence, contracts and litigation (administrative and judicial), in addition to advisory and institutional relations with stakeholders in the mining, environmental and land areas. Solange led the mining team at Vale S.A., focusing on transactions involving mining contracts, litigation and dam safety. The lawyer acted decisively during the crises at the Mariana and Brumadinho dams. In her résumé, Solange also lists work at other large companies.
