About Nura Abdulkadir

Nura Abdulkadir is a senior associate and head of the dispute resolution department at Garane & Somane Advocates, with specialised expertise in Public Interest Litigation and Constitutional Law. Recognised as an up-and-coming litigation lawyer in 2024, he advises major state corporations and represents the government in high-stakes mandates. His practice includes precedent-setting insolvency disputes, such as the Mumias Sugar receivership, and multi-million-dollar energy and infrastructure contests. Nura has successfully litigated complex matters before the Supreme Court and the East African Court of Justice, including the 2022 Presidential Election Petition.
