About Jessica Phillips

Jessica Phillips is a commercial and regulatory litigator with extensive experience in complex, high-value disputes. She advises corporates, government agencies and industry bodies on contract, director liability, regulatory breaches and property claims. Jessica spent six years in London with Hausfeld and Clifford Chance, managing cross-border disputes, competition litigation, including follow-on class actions, and regulatory investigations for multinational clients. On returning to New Zealand, she acted for clients including the Commerce Commission, NZTA Waka Kotahi and the Ministry of Education. Since joining Tompkins Wake in 2024, Jessica has continued to lead significant arbitration and High Court proceedings.
