About Tina Liu

Tina Liu is a partner at Tompkins Wake and leads the firm’s life science, biotechnology and healthcare practice groups. Tina advises on a variety of commercial contracts and regulatory compliance matters for local and international clients in health, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, innovative therapeutic products, food, data protection, innovative technology, and import and export controls. She regularly advises global pharmaceutical companies on all aspects of the sale, distribution and marketing of innovative therapeutic products, including product categorisation, regulation, advertising, pharmacovigilance, licensing and commercialisation. Tina has negotiated pharmaceutical supply arrangements with Pharmac (New Zealand’s government drug purchasing organisation) and has advised on pharmaceutical recalls.
