Chan Leng Sun
was appointed Senior Counsel by the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2011. He is qualified to practise in Singapore, Malaysia and England. He is often instructed as lead counsel in arbitration and court litigation, on disputes relating to company law, contract, economic torts and multi-jurisdictional fraud, engineering and construction, insurance, international trade & admiralty. He is Deputy Chairman, Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the SGX Appeals Committee and Immediate Past President of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and is on the panel of leading dispute resolution institutions including SIAC, CIETAC, ICDR, AIAC and HKIAC. He is also a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. Before joining Essex Court Chambers Duxton (Singapore Group Practice), Leng Sun was the Global Head of Arbitration of Baker McKenzie.
