About Aurélie Chazai

Aurélie Chazai is the managing partner of Chazai Wamba and a member of the Cameroon and Paris Bars. She advises mining companies and investors on complex corporate transactions, joint ventures, project finance and regulatory compliance across Africa’s mining sector, with particular expertise in OHADA jurisdictions. She previously practised at Ashurst LLP and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Paris, as well as at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, Linklaters LLP, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre and Ernst & Young, working on corporate, mining and financial transactions across Europe and Africa.
