About André Marcassa

André Marcassa is a partner of DFA, with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation matters, debtor-creditor disputes (mainly those involving fraud and veil piercing theories), transnational insolvency and international recovery of misappropriated assets, as a result of fraud in Brazil and abroad. He worked as an international lawyer at a leading litigation firm in New York, where he represented companies in high-stakes cross-border disputes, with a particular focus on Latin America. André has acted on behalf of judgment and arbitration award creditors to develop and implement enforcement, asset tracing and recovery strategies.
