Héctor Cuevas Gonzalez provides consulting services and advice to domestic and multinational clients on regulatory matters. Hector has participated in deals across such industries as banking, electric energy, telecommunications, mining, oil & gas, federal transportation and railways, aviation, construction and pharmaceuticals. A member of the International Bar Association, Hector has substantial experience in project finance deals. He has advised and continue to advise some of the most representative participants across a number of sectors, both on the creditor and sponsor sides, in connection with some of the largest infrastructure projects in Mexico. He regularly advises clients on a number of infrastructure matters other than financing projects, including public bidding processes, the contracting phase and the subcontracts, as well as subsequent sale and acquisition. His other work includes providing legal assistance to the Mexican branch of several banks on a highly complex restructuring of diverse credits to a Spanish energy and construction conglomerate with significant presence in Mexico.
