is a managing associate at the firm, and advises on corporate and financial law. His recent experience includes assisting on a fund’s cross-border restructuring, a foreign equity and convertible loan investment, ESOP structuring, IPO preparation, structuring various M&A transactions and developing novel corporate finance arrangements. Amir was previously internal legal counsel at Export Development Canada, where he prepared and negotiated financing documents for numerous multi-jurisdictional financings. He holds a JD from the University of Ottawa, a PhD in international relations from Florida International University, a MS from Simon Fraser University and a BSE from Sharif University of Technology. He is a member of the Ontario Bar.
