About Juan Carlos Villar

Juan Carlos Villar is a partner at Villar & Villar Abogados, S.C., specialising in commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, construction disputes and international contract negotiation. He is a member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, the International Bar Association, and Young ITA, having served as co-ordinator of the ICC Mexico Young Arbitrators Committee. He holds a Law degree, a Constitutional Law Specialisation, a Master’s in Public Administration, and a Notarial Law Specialisation from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. In 2023, he won first place in the Notarial Essay Contest organised by the Colegio de Notarios de la Ciudad de México.
