About Daniel Lovecek

Daniel Lovecek is a principal at Senet and has extensive gambling sector and media experience, having worked for 12 years in senior roles at Australia’s largest wagering operator, Tabcorp, and previously as a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills. He has advised boards, senior executives and management on a range of regulatory, corporate, commercial and compliance matters, including the complex AUD11 billion merger of the Tabcorp and Tatts groups. Daniel advises on bookmaker and gambling operator licensing, racing industry matters, media rights, M&A, sports and racing integrity arrangements, gambling advertising and sponsorship, new product approvals, anti-money laundering, regulatory compliance and general commercial issues. He is also a member of the International Association of Gaming Regulators and of the Law Institute of Victoria, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.
