About Alexander Berkemeyer

Alexander Berkemeyer is a partner at BKM - Berkemeyer and specialises in advising German and English-speaking clients on corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law in Paraguay. He assists on day-to-day corporate matters, commercial agreements, corporate reorganisations, and IP protection. He has extensive experience in facilitating foreign investment in Paraguay, providing "soft landing" support for investors. He holds an MBA and LLM from Columbia University, NY, where he earned a distinction in international and comparative law and focused his research on Latin American investment and M&A. He participates in committees of the IBA, INTA, ABA SIL Section, and ASIPI.
